Pat Beveridge

Award winning artist Pat Beveridge lives and works in Fife, Scotland. Already an accomplished painter, Pat began working in textiles and mixed media in 2002. She retired from teaching in 2004 to become a professional artist. Pat’s work is remarkable for its combination of vibrant and subtle colours and is widely recognised throughout Scotland and beyond. Her work is on show permanently in her studio in Glenrothes and she exhibits regularly in galleries throughout east Scotland and other parts of the UK. Pat is also currently studying at Edinburgh College of Art.

Pat’s awards include: the Worshipful Company of Broderers Prize 2009; Highly Commended – City and Guilds Medals for Excellence Awards 2009; Workbook Award – Charles Henry Foyle Trust Stitched Textile Awards 2007; Best in Show – ‘Loose Threads’ exhibition Perth City Hall; and a Best in Show and two highly commended awards at the Shell Expro exhibition held annually in Kirkcaldy Art Gallery and Museum.
